Real security cameras serve a dual purpose. They work to monitor your property and can record any happenings that go on. They also are there to make your establishment appear to be secure, and warn off criminals that your establishment is not going to be an easy target.
Fake security cameras are not able to monitor your property, but they can be used to make your home or business appear to be secure. Most fake cameras will have the same make and model as real cameras. It simply just isn’t turned on.
There are a lot of different cameras that you can use. Before you decide, however, you should determine how close people will be to the actual camera. Some cameras will work great under close scrutiny, while other cameras will only appear real from a distance.

If your establishment needs to be monitored with real security cameras, there is also the option of using a combination of real and fake cameras. This can be the best solution for your security needs. You will still be able to monitor your key hot spots, such as your entrance, but make your perimeter look more secure.
